Storage and retrieval operations are managed by the warehouse software which, thanks to the possibility of interfacing with the company administrative system, moves the goods through machines (stacker cranes, satellites, shuttles and elevators) according to internal inflow/outflow and warehouse logics.

Stacker cranes are machines which, depending on the height of the warehouse and the weight of the load unit, can have one or two columns and even reach 4 m/s to 40 meters in height. The stacker cranes can store and retrieve pallets/boxes in single, double and triple depth. The load units with a weight that can range from 100 to 2000 kg, depending on the needs of the operator, can rest on beams, stocchetti or continuous surfaces. They are ideal systems for industrial realities with many different typologies in stock.
The miniload stacker cranes are single-column machines that move boxes, trays or cartons and can reach speeds of up to 6 m/s. The stacker cranes can store and retrieve in single and double depth. The load units with a weight that can range from 5 to 200 kg, depending on the needs of the operator, can rest on galvanized corners or surfaces. They are ideal systems for industrial companies with many different typologies in stock, needing to move a lot of materials immediately.
The systems with stacker crane and satellite on board are multi-depth, ideal for situations with many load units per single reference. The stacker crane transports both the pallet and the satellite; once it arrives in the tunnel predestined by the information system it downloads both. By scrolling on the Z profiles the satellite will deposit the pallet at the predetermined depth; on retrieval the action will be reversed.
Shuttles for boxes, trays or cartons are very fast mini shuttles. There are shuttles that move only in a longitudinal direction so they only need one loading floor. For moving from one floor to another, elevators, or shuttles, are used which can also travel in height up to 3 or 4 floors. These solutions are increasingly used because they are the answer that best suits the needs of e-commerce.

In these types of warehouse the storage materials, usually bars, are placed in cradles that can have lengths of up to 8 m. They are deposited by specific stacker cranes in a honeycomb structure on polymer skids. The stacker crane moves the cradles from the loading / unloading bays to the loading cells.
